Media Education & Film

At the start of their Media Literacy program, students were tasked to create a stop motion animation allowing them to explore skills related to visual story telling in a fun and focussed environment. They were given the theme of ‘Super Hero’ and in groups they created story outlines and ultimately a final animated short. They are developing their skills as visual story tellers and media creators as they build their knowledge of pre to post production tools, learning the value of collaboration, inquiry, creativity, problem solving, and being a communicator.
